Famous People?

I had the opportunity to hang out with the guys from What Made Milwaukee Famous at the Paste Magazine Issue Release Party in Atlanta. These guys are not only amazing musicians, but they are also pretty darn funny. After hanging out with them for a couple hours, they played an hour set that was so full of energy that it was hard not to get caught up (even though it was a small crowd).

A few days after the show, they were featured in a podcast by KEXP from the CMJ festival. The podcast is a live performance and gives you a chance to hear what you missed at the Release Party. With that said, I can't wait to hear them again, so until that time...

I've always wanted to write something witty on my first post and seem like one of those cool people who knows more than you do. However, everything that I write just shows that I'm trying way to hard to seem witty and it comes off as idiotic. So, I'll just settle for starting my new blog - one which has been in the idea stage for quite some time.

There are tons of great music sites out there, and I don't expect that this blog will be anything more than me putting my thoughts somewhere else than on the web. We'll see how long this lasts.
